Adam is almost as hard to describe as Jack. I like to think of him as my favorite contradiction. 
He is sweet and loving, especially for anyone smaller than him, but sometimes that can be like being loved by a baby elephant! He is our keeper of justice; the world is black and white to Adam. Of course that just makes it more difficult if the rules of justice have been violated, especially by Adam since he gets so defensive! Unlike Jack, Adam has only a touch of autism, so while the way Jack's brain is wired affects his entire world, the way Adam's brain is wired only seems to affect how he solves his problems.
When the world is too much for Adam he often retreats into his room and creates. With his Legos, with paper airplanes, or any other way he has found to make his own world.
But most of the time he is just our crazy guy! And no one appreciates a bear hug more than Adam.
